Crypto Investigator Module 01: Introduction to Cryptocurrency

I want to sincerely thank BIGCS/QLUE for allowing me the opportunity to take and participate in the Introduction to Cryptocurrency Investigations course, Crypto Investigations Module: 1. For someone like me, who does not always have the same level of access to training opportunities that others may have, this meant a great deal. I truly appreciated the chance to learn, participate, and continue building my foundation in this space. From the perspective of someone still growing in cryptocurrency investigations, I found the course to be well thought out, structured, and meaningful. The videos were engaging, and I especially appreciated the portions with real people presenting the material. That helped make a complex topic feel more approachable and grounded in real-world knowledge. What stood out most was that the course challenged my thinking. Some ideas brought forth additional questions, which I believe is a good thing. It was thought-provoking and pushed me to think deeper about the investigative process, the responsibility involved, and the importance of understanding why we do what we do. The course did not present cryptocurrency investigations as steps to memorize or buttons to click. It reinforced the need for a strong foundation, sound reasoning, and an understanding of how the technology and investigative process work together. I also appreciated the rationale provided for why we are able to investigate these cases and how we can do so with the support, tools, and resources available to us. Overall, I found the course practical, informative, and valuable. I am grateful for the opportunity and would recommend it to investigators who want to better understand this space and build a stronger investigative foundation. Thank you again for allowing me to participate and learn.
